A Consumer’s Guide to Ladders
Here is a brief walkthough on ladder. The quite versatile ladder is the rigid ladder, and it’s often used for many tasks. Rigid ladders come in many varieties – fixed, extension, step, platform step, and roof. The fixed ladder is the simplest of these and has no moving parts. Extension ladders are the type that can be lengthened, since one part is nested in the other for storage. Joined by a hinge at its top, and often forming an inverted V, are step ladders. A platform step ladder has, because of its name, a platform at the top. Roof ladders come with hooks that set them firmly hooked on the roof. Aluminium is the choice material for various ladders, except those for electrical work.
