This block is incredibly typical of midtown - Hotels, restaurants, theaters, pubs, parking garages, car rental. Nothing is left out. Perhaps the two most notable features on the block are the London Hotel and the Ziegfeld Theatre. The London is a rather beautiful hotel on the north side of the block. It's perhaps best known lately as the home to one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. Down the street a bit, you'll see the (new) Zeigfeld Theatre. Built in 1969, it's meant as a replacement of-sorts
